I've always got a penchant for pretty little things and my heart goes 'OooOOohh....' everytime I see pretty little things...

This is also why this blog is starting to be a blog which I use to pen down things / ideas / designs that I find pretty and inspiring.

In the course of me surfing the net for inspiration and ideas, I came across this!

Hiatus...

Things have been a little of a 'On hiatus' over here lately because I've been distracted with another '3-minute passion' project... And Rob has simply been too busy with his exams to be distracted by any wedding planning...

I'm kinda looking forward to June when we can start actively planning for our future together in a more brick-n-mortar way and not just in our minds... =)

We sent in the application for The Peak and we are kinda waiting to see if the application comes through. Results will be announced for those who are listed as successful for a go at balloting of a unit over there.

Located in a very prime location, the price is really sky high. We have decided that we will do our thorough thought process and analysis only if we are given the chance to ballot. Otherwise, exploring a resale flat would be the other option.

This is kinda exciting, because just like how girls like to dress up their dolls when they are little, mothers love to dress up their kids while they still can... New home owners like to dress up the new homes together to depict their styles...

Alternatives...

Have been surfing around for ideas already... (A syndrome that is probably known in mandarin as 30-minutes enthusiasm...)

Was looking at these bridal gowns on the Amerinca websites and was just thinking that they are so CHEAP!

That might fairly well be a feasible idea as they are nice & CHEAP! Considering that I'm not particularly fussy with gowns... Problem is I have an innate discomfort with buying clothes when I am not able to try them on. I guess alterations can be done here, but then there's the hassle of looking for reliable and cost effective seamstress to do the alterations if any...

The Beginning...

We finally got the date...

12 June 2010 (Saturday)

No doubt it's longer than expected, but it may not be a bad thing. The time will allow us better preparation and more innovative ideas...

While I'm excited about the lifetime ahead, I'm currently more excited about the day... and the things we will do...

Some of the ideas have already started forming in my head. With these ideas, of course there will be additional costs - But at least we have more than a year to save hard for these things which I hope will make things a little more special...

1. Sending a fridge magnet with our invite card -
Seriously, who keeps wedding invites? Personally, more often than not, I find myself digging through piles of paper / in my drawers to scour for invites that have been sent to me a month / two in advance of friends' wedding day when the date of the wedding gets near.


With a fridge invite, people can save the hassle of keeping the invite card (which I am hoping not to spend $$ on, but get the hotel to provide for Free). And with the right resources and contacts, these magnets need not come too costly!
